Flatrate Buddy is a productivity tool that helps automotive flat-rate technicians log hours, track earnings, and audit pay stubs. It is not a payroll service and does not constitute financial or legal advice.
You must create an account to use the app. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Some features require a Flat-Rate Pro subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are displayed in the app before you subscribe.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial periods.
Free features: Core logging functionality remains free. Pro features (CSV/JSON export, PDF audit reports, pay stub dispute reports, cloud sync) require an active subscription.
You own your data. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than operating the app. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. We cannot verify pay stub amounts, RO numbers, or employer records.

Flatrate Buddy is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a specific purpose. The app is a tool to help you track your own records — always maintain your own independent records as well.
Pay stub comparisons and dispute reports are based solely on the data you enter. We cannot guarantee their accuracy for legal or employment proceedings.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
